On the morning of June 13, Ding Weijie, Secretary of the Party group of the Municipal Federation of trade unions, Qin Yun, vice chairman and other five people went to Tianming machinery group to investigate the production and operation of the enterprise and the work of the trade union. Yin Shaoqing, deputy director of the Standing Committee of Haizhou District People's Congress and chairman of the Federation of trade unions, Wang Fuqin, Party Secretary of the Federation of trade unions and other comrades accompanied the investigation. Lu Mingli, chairman of Tianming machinery group, accompanied the investigation and detailed introduction to the development of the enterprise。

调研中，丁维杰一行先后参观了集团发展史展厅、集团生产指挥中心、天明纺机生产车间和高端矿山装备生产现场。丁维杰表示，对天明机械集团创新高端、快速发展取得的巨大成就表示震撼，为连云港拥有天明这样的装备制造龙头企业感到骄傲。

座谈中，丁维杰听取了企业工会的相关情况介绍，充分肯定了天明在党工共建，落实集体协商和加强工人队伍建设等方面的成绩，并要求职能部门在科技创新、组织活动等方面继续给予企业大力支持。市总基层工作部部长赵勇、劳动经济部部长许小兵等分别就各部门工作作了进一步介绍。
